Better than you will expect
It is low priced as far as this type of article goes, and would struggle to take the starain of 4 big stage units. BUT in saying that, the quality of this item is very good as is the design. I have 6 lights 4 Mini Lasers standing and 2 larger (colour wash) lamps hanging and the bar easily handles them. Yes a good buy, and better that expected. I would say go for it if you are after a small to medium T light stand.Read full review...

Better than expected but far from perfect.
I bought this stand for very occasionally kids use in the play room. Once it's up, it stays up. The stand is sturdy, reassuringly heavy with a good feel to it. The two adjustable plastic collars on the telescopic arm were both broken or arrival. That doesn't make the product unusable as there are metal pins that can go through the arm allowing you to extend it anyway. It only means that the arm height can only go to one of two preset heights not an infinite height. Not a problem for me so I didn't seek a refund or exchange but for some that will be an issue.Read full review...

OK for the money but a bit light-weight consdering the brand name.
Do not expect too much but nice and cheap.
What's good? Light in weight. Tidy design. Easy to put up and fold down, The T-bar to vertical is slotted so the orientation of the T-bar remains stable (does not spin round).
What's not so good? Could be a bit too lightweight. The plastic fittings work fine but may not last and seem to have limited grip. Tripod legs don't go spread as far as I would like.
It is really difficult to get the measure of products like this when buying online. I'm probably asking it to do too much with 8 led par lights attached.
The description does say 'light weight' so I can't complain too much. I know Gorilla is the brand name but does give the wrong impression for this product. I'll add some wing-head jubilee clips to add some security to the plastic fittings.

everything you need from a stand without a massive p£ice tag
i have bought various Gorrilla branded kit over the years and it has all lasted well. let's face it, stands and racks don't get much love so it's important to be robust👍

Gorilla Stands
I have a couple of Gorilla Stands in my possession now. And the only thing that shocks me with this is that there are no pins in the main shaft to prevent it dropping. That aside for £23 I am very pleased. I only hang two lights from it anyway. Yes I would recommend this. I like Gorilla products. Read full review...

Good for lighter lights <20kg
Good design, good price but i wouldn't put anything too heavy on it - couldn't get the top section to stay up with about 25kg on it. Should have some pins to hold it up if rated to 30kg.

Great price but unfortunately cheap parts
Gorilla products are great but build quality is not brilliant if you need a hard wearing product
Bolts to tighten stand are cheap thin plastic
Mine arrived broken inside the box and bag it arrived in
One knock and I suspect it be gone
So an improvement in parts would help
Raise the bar to the next level
I also have a gorilla dj stand that bent up due to cheap metal construction and end caps that near all lost due to looseness
If you have a better budget I’d go for a better brand but for a odd accessions use gorilla maybe ok as a throwaway product or fixed location bedroom dj tyke thing Read full review...

OK...but
For the money a very good stand.......BUT
They should really have holes for support pins. I had to drill holes in mine for support pins as relying on having to tighten the outer onto the inner to keep the stand high means that over time it will cease to hold properly and you will find yourself forever trying to tighten the clamp harder - until it fails.
So, at around £20 it is good value, but drill those holes and it will last longer
It also invalidates any guarantee (but I find those not worth the paper they are written on)Read full review...

lightweight stand, compact
great little stand, have used for a few hours and found it to be adequate for lightweight applications but if you plan on using heavy lighting units, then this may not suit, good value for money.

cheap but wont last
we bought these March 2016 and 6 months in with not much use the first one broke now the second one has gone, the plastic sleeve the bolt goes through sheers off over time which then prevents you extending them as it wont grip to keep it at the height you want itRead full review...
