I DARE YOU to buy this. Essential classic live performances of some of the most seminal music ever created.
This is an amazing band at their best. Their sound is unique and they cannot be pigeon holed as a Goth Band. This is a band that is like no other. Has anyone ever played guitar like Daniel Ash? No one can replicate that sound. Then the brothers forming that tight rhythm section, what an ensemble.
Then of course to top all that, his Satanic Majesty, Peter Murphy. What a great showman. This band should never be tampered with as the four elements are crucial to this sound. Get in anyone you care to get to replace Daniel Ash and it does not work and never will.
A very important band. Unique dark rock. This CD captures them at the peak of their reformation. I DARE YOU to lend your ears to this and hope that it gives you the same buzz as I get when listening to Bauhaus from any era of the original line up.
A further reformation is possibly not going to happen but thanks for the music and memories. REST IN PEACE.Read full review...
