I just love my new Gourmia Pressure Cooker. I have used Pressure Cookers all my life and loved the speed and flavors, but this pot has so many more features than the ones I have had in the past that just sit on the burner and sizzle. This is truly a one pot cooker. You put the meat, onions, celery and oil in and it is immediately hot and cooking. It cooks for 5 minutes and then goes to KEEP WARM. It will keep warm for up to 4 hours or until you tell it the next command. I can keep putting it on Saute or keep warm until I am ready to eat then I put the pressure to it and finish cooking it. Depending on how much more cooking is needed I can either let the pressure go down on it's own or I can release it. I know that things just keep getting better as time goes by, but I don't know how much more they can improve this one.Read full review

Far from the best...mediocre materials

After three uses, the white coloring to differentiate between airtight and exhaust was no longer there. Also, the ‘nonstick ‘ inner pot started to stick. I’ve purchased seven different pressure cookers and this was the second worst. I’m definitely not impressed with it at all.Read full review

Great pressure cooker for the price. We use it all the time!

This pressure cooker is phenomenal! We use it constantly and love it. Speed up cooking time for dinner and the kinds of food we cook with it is limitless. The only downside is that the rubber gasket comes out occasionally causing a poor seal and the pressure wont build. You just have to take off the lid and work it back into place, easy to do, and then close it up again. Just a pain if you start it and walk away because you don't notice it wont pressurize. Great, economical pressure cooker

Love my pressure cooker! It's been used a lot for almost a year and makes the best little cheesecakes along with a lot of main dishes. The only thing I don't like is the finish of the interior pot. It lost its non-stick finish almost immediately, but it's still really easy to clean. I would recommend this pot to my friends.Read full review

Convenient, and easy to use- love the steamer option

We made tamales for Christmas, just followed the directions for steaming-turned on the steamer mode, and went for a walk- auto mod makes it easy to use.

No manual stem option

Most online recipes will tell you to cook something, for example, on high pressure for 5 mins. You can't do that on this cooker. All the buttons are set options, like for meat, rice, veggies, etc. I returned it for this reason and this reason only. I must say though, the unit is well made.Read full review

Great pressure cooker

This little cooker has been through it. My husband accidently dropped it and broke one handle off. While transporting it in our truck's floor, it got squeezed into a tight space and so now it is dented on both sides, BUT...it still works as good as the first day I used it. FYI...you do have to make sure the seal inside the lid is in place before setting it to cook or else the steam will escape the lid in various places. Just make sure everything is in place, and it should do well. I did buy a back up pot just in case this original pot ever gives out. So far, so good.Read full review

This will join a Mirro stovetop pressure cooker that Mother and I have used for a combined 65 years. That's going to be a tough act to follow.

Pressure up!

I have cooked several meals in this pressure cooker and it does an excellent job. Personally I like to manually set the cooker because I don't like anything less than fall off the bone meats. The manual settings ensure this. The size is just right for two people especially if you want a fast well cooked meal. The price was excellent as well and it's worth every penny.Read full review
