Use long reach not ladders.
Good quality, easy set up, Great reach and trims very easily and efficiently.
Maybe not the lightest but letting the strap take the strain makes the trimmer easy to use.

Quick to assemble and easy to use

Well I thought I did this once this is a well constructed product it is heavy but you know that the gears are strong. With a very long reach I did my hege in 10 to 20 minutes.
