I bought this as a weed killer, to add with salt, as we have ivy spreading all along the fences. Previously I was using the bottles of white vinegar, but there was so little of it and decided to look on eBay for bigger amounts. Hexeal White Vinegar for killing moss.
I bought 4 x 5L Hexeal 20% Strong White Vinegar which was the best value on e-bay, and diluted it 50/50 and used 20 litres at 10% strength to treat a patchy heavy growth of moss in late November on an asphalt carport. I checked it two days later and all the moss had turned brown, so just need to brush it off, with stiff brush or wire brush now. Maybe 5% standard strength would have also killed the moss ? No doubt the moss will re-appear by next spring, and I will then treat it again with Hexeal White Vinegar, which can also be used a general weed killer. Bought it as weed and moss killer for the front drive, also to clean the patio after the dogs do a wee at night. Not rerally the time of year for the mosskilling but tried it on a sample patch and seems like does the job as well can expected.
For the second job suggest you dilute it a bit as it has quite a strong smell.

Vinegar has many uses.
When mixed with salt and a little washing soap it makes a great, environmentally friendly weed killer.
This 20% (acetic acid 4 x the strength of table vinegar) is great value for money at slightly over £1 per litre for a 20l pack.
