Beats petrol power for domestic use!
I first started my battery tools collection with a greenworks chainsaw, fantastic tool much better than my petrol powered one in every way! I immediately started to replace all of my other petrol tools with battery powered ones and this new strimmer is just the latest to the family it does just as good a job in my medium sized garden, it's much lighter in weight no starting hassles, no petrol mess and it's quieter too! No smelly exhaust, noise or wires.
Having only used it once found it a little bit bigger than expected but did exactly as it says on the box. How nice to strim without a smelly noisey engine and not having to bother about wires getting in the way. Might benefit from a shoulder strap to take the weight off your arms on long jobs. Should be easy to knock one up. Can't say about battery life as only a small garden and was using 4amp hour from lawn mower. But a hour break for a cup of tea and a biscuit while I wait to recharge battery soon goes. Now going to buy hedge cutter. I might be sold on battery garden tools but a mountain will have to be moved before I change my diesel car for electric car. I don't go to much on tea breaks when I want to go large distances.Read full review...
