So much better than a petrol Chainsaw

Not cheap, but well worth it
I will be honest I didn't see the "machine only" but when ordered so with battery and charger not a cheap tool. I can't use petrol tools for a number of reasons also a long garden with no power but had a load of rotten wood, old 4 inch fence posts, out of control small trees, a battery chainsaw was the only option.
It cut threw the rotten wood like a hot knife through melting butter near mulching som of it! The 4 inch post took about 30 seconds to cut through with little problem, the two inch to 4 inch tree boughs again no different to my old petrol chainsaw.
One change lasted about an hour and 1/4 of good cutting in the garden. Whilst there is clearly noise it is nowhere near as noisy as my old petrol saw.
I do community work and have used this yesterday to cut done some huge lylandi. It did equally well on the small 1/2 inch limbs as the 1 or 2 inch ones. Again no one complaining about the noise, did about 80 or 90 good cuts now have a large pile of lylandi cut and not much harder than doing it with the petrol one.
Will it replace a petrol saw, no not for a professional- is it good for regular home/light landscaping use with no fuel mixing, storage, quick start...... OH YEAH.
I am going to try some garden carving in some of the larger logs I cut with it, nothing fancy but I think it is up for the taskRead full review...
