So so funny and so so true.

I bought this because i watched the Grumpy Old Men and Grumpy Old Women series on TV, but missed alot because it was usually hidden away on BBC2 at obscure times. The DVD didn't disappoint, it's so funny but O.M.G alot of it rings true for me, i sat there saying "yes, yes I know. Here, here" and suchlike. The bonus Christmas episode was the icing on the cake, I laughed so much. My mum borrowed it and she agrees with every word, she loved it too. I've got to get the Grumpy Old Women DVD now.Read full review...

A great value purchase that will brighten anyone's Day.

This was a very enjoyable series where the participants state the sentiments of most people and is a humorous tongue in cheek opinionated rant. The Christmas special is particularly good and the DVD is the sort you will definitely want to watch more than once.Read full review...

Never has there been a more real outlook on modern life

The first series of Grumpy Old Men, including the Christmas special. The series which at long last heard the truth as told by those the truly know what it is like to be alive today men aged 35 to 50. That they be seen as (and even admit to) being simply "grumpy" is in itself indicative of the world today. Seen by the rest as simply the inane ravings of Grumpy Old Men in the shape of, among others, Rick Wakeman, Rory McGrath, Bob Geldof, John Stapleton, the late John Peel, and the inimitable Arthur Smith, in fact what we are hearing is an insightful and intellectual overview on life in the 21st century. Narrated by the wonderfully ironic tones of Geoffrey Palmer, these men reveal their insight into subjects such as the mobile phone, speed bumps, Christmas, junk mail, fashion, teenagers, newspapers, politics, holidays, political correctness, and even television itself.

Truly these men are visionaries, and if they ever decide to form a Grumpy Old Men Party, I would not only vote for them but would most likely offer myself up as a candidate!

Buy it, watch it, (and maybe one day vote for them!)
