Well made, Very sturdy

I really like these sticks as they’re at the perfect length (20 inches) for my backpack. I made an aider that will easily get me over 20 feet if needed. The only issue with this purchase is one of the holes wasn’t fully drilled. Not an issue with soft aluminum as it was easy to fix, but still. No reason to mark these down. Price was about right, but I have seen it a little cheaper on other sites. Still, happy with the purchase. Highly recommend. Felt very safe in the tree. Made in Vietnam.

Not all that great!

These climbing sticks are fairly light weight, and that (for me) is where the advantages end. I used them this past weekend for the first time. First, I couldn't get them apart. When I finally did pry them apart, one of the keeper clips broke. As I put them on the tree, they would slide up and down as I stepped on them and off to the next one. They didn't feel sturdy and I even had one kick to the side. The straps they come with just have loops to put over the holding peg, which doesn't really allow you to get them set tight. Climbing sticks

I like them, they are very light, and very easily set up. The only problem I found is that the strap that holds them to the tree is more towards the top of the steps so when you grabb the bottom to accend or decend it pulls away from the tree, need anothe strab around the bottom portion to make the rock solid.Read full review

Not my first choice but price was in budget. The plastic keepers broke day 1 and I have had to design a separate method to keep the together. The straps are only 5 foot so will also need the replace those to use on larger base.Read full review

Best Sticks around!

There are, by far, the best sticks I have used in my 10+ years hunting! The suction cups to store the sticks together does not fall apart (like the 32" sticks), the strap material is light and easy to use (though you have to use the stick as the weight to fling around the tree - if it is more significant than your wingspan - or tie a small weight to the strap). Once the sticks are locked in, they don't move, and I am comfortable with my weight on them.Read full review
