Certainly does not do what it claims on the packet, to be avoided

This product not only did not do what it promised - clean and renovate a limescale stained toilet - after using the product with considerable effort the results were negligible - the cleaning ‘kit’ comprised of a piece of plastic, virtually unusable gloves and a rough pad for the cleaning, all were ineffective. This ‘kit’ is a Marketing gimmick and totally overpriced . I will now be seriously reconsidering using any HG products in the future

HG Renovation toilet cleaner

It does what it says. We have an old cottage with the original downstairs cloakroom and the toilet was looking very dingy. It cleaned it very well under the rim and the end result was excellent.

Doesn't remove the most stubborn stains as advertised

The fact that this product is shipped with a scrubbing brush indicates that it's probably not very effective. Yes, a lot of scrubbing is required, and both the scrubber and gloves fell apart quite quickly. I got the feeling that vinegar and baking soda would be just as effective, and thats what I'll be using to finish the job.Read full review...
