Product does the job BUT........

Having used this product before on my log burner, I know it does the job well. However I have NOT received this order which is two weeks overdue.

A very effective glass cleaner for woodburning stoves.

This is my second bottle of HG , the first has lasted just under 2 years. You don't need to use a lot, just a few squirts over the glass then rub it in, I use a kitchen abrasive sponge. Then clean it off with a piece of newspaper and polish with a cloth, works every time. Occasionally the glass gets a heavy stain, probably from some resin carried in the wood , this needs the HG to stay on for a bit longer and sometimes a second application., but always successful. If it's done regularly, (I do I about once a week) then the marks are easier to remove.Read full review...

Glad for easy cleaning

The spray foam is really good and beats trying to clean the stove glass door with wet tissue and wood ash. While the old method may be eco friendly, and OK, I am 80 this year, so I need to take it easy with house care

Effective Stove Door Glass cleaner

I buy this Stove Glass Cleaner regularly because it's nice to use, as you can see where it is on the stove door glass via the 'soaping agent', inherent in its manufacture. It also breaks the soot and tar deposits down well, making the job of cleaning the door glass easy. However, I do recommend spraying the 'foam' to the top of the glass and letting it slither down, to eat away at the grime as it goes, i.e. give it five minutes or so to do it's stuff.
