HKS 586-A Revolver Speedloader for S&W 586/686/681 & Ruger GP100

Good for the money

I bought one of these speedloader a and to my surprise they sent me 2! I obviously didn't have a problem with that. One of the loaders seems nice and high quality, holds the .357 cartridges I shoot nice and secure and has a satisfying click when you lock them in. The second one however, is a little loose and 2 shells have a little wiggle room making it a little more difficult to load my gp100 revolver as the cartridges don't line up perfectly and when you twist the knob to lock the shells in it doesn't seem as tight as it could be, like as could easily loosen itself and dump your shells out. For $10 I know the loaders aren't the greatest, but they seem to get the job done. Really happy with one of them, and the second will do the job acceptably.Read full review

Great product but a transport problem this time.

The product is great as I've had some before.
The reason I gave the product only 1 star is because this time I'm still waiting for it to be delivered.
It was ordered on 18 September 2020 and according to the tracking it is doing a trip around the world.

The best ones on the market

These loaders are good for range shooting and as a back-up supply of ammo when hunting.
I have used this type of ammo storage for over 30 years. I caried them all through my career in law enforcement and I believe these are the best. I've tried others.
I always keep at least four on hand.
NOTE* They may be a little tight at first, they will loosen slightly after a few uses.

The speed loader is excellent for revolvers. You load you're rounds in the loader, twist and they lock into place. When it's time to reload? It takes seconds!! Drop out your cylinder, empty your spent rounds, insert your new rounds, twist the opposite way with your speed loader and every round is seated smoothly into the cylinder and your ready to go!! acccessory for pistols:

The items were in perfect condition when they arrived and work just fine together, the only problem is that the speed loaders will not work with my revolver. They will not let you insert the rounds all the way into the cylinder. You have to put the rounds in just a little bit then unlock the rounds so you can shake the rounds into the cylinder.
