Moves around on our carpet!
I have had several carpet protector mats over the years (when they eventually split the get replaced). Some have been great, some just okay. Unfortunately, this is just okay. It will not grip on our carpet (short pile) and moves around quite a lot. It is also very soft, and the chair castors leave impressions on it. It may be okay with other carpets, but it is certainly not okay with ours. I am a little disappointed, but will use it until it wears out (I will just keep moving it back into position on a regular basis). I hope the next one I buy will be better.Read full review...

A bad buy
I can find nothing good to say about this mat and wish I hadn't purchased it. The description says lipped but there is no lip not that it matters particularly. Although it has spikes it does not stay in place and I am forever having to move it back into position. It is thin compared to others I have had and the castors just dig in to the mat and the carpet below. It just doesn't do the job and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.Read full review...

Lightweight
Bought this to replace my old mat.... it covers the carpet... but is much thinner that the old one & 'wanders' as my office chair rolls on it. The spikes on the bottom are too shallow and too soft to grip the carpet. So i have to keep re-positioning it.... several times a day. The old one NEVER moved. A regretable purchase. It doesn't flatten.
It arrives rolled up. Trying to get it to lie flat is tricky. I managed to roll it 'against' the way it arrived and layed it down. That was nearly 2 weeks ago and it still isn't lying flat on the carpet. Unlike the photograph of it, it remains wavey - not flat. It's in a bedroom, so we could catch bare toes on it too. I've bought others in the past which have been a lot better/more solid, and performed/layed well - though they may have been more expensive. A regretable purchase. too flimsy
No good on slightly thick carpet. The plastic is very thin and flimsy. The chair wheels make indentations in it and instead of rolling around like on a hard floor you have to push it really hard like it's still on the carpet. The studs don't dig in so it moves around too.Read full review...

Carpet protector chair mat
The mat smelled when unpacked. Difficult to get flat on carpet. Chair would not move when sitting (roller chair).
Room smelled terrible. Eventually removed and binned. Room is still smelling after one week.

Does What It Says On The Tin
