Great price for enterprise hard drives!
We still utilize these dual port 146Gb sas 2.5" drive in some of our older DL360 and DL380 G5 and G7 series servers. Although virtualization is the big word in IT it seems that people are forgetting that these HP servers become outdated before they stop working and there is nothing wrong with them. I picked up a handful of these 146Gb drives just to have as spares for our development HP servers that still use these drives and are in active daily user environments everyday since their "birth date" to our company back in 2006.
The drives I purchased, some are configured in RAID 10 systems and they work just fine. I'm keeping a couple in storage as on hand spares. I find no fault or defect with any of these drives I have purchased and I'm extremely happy to find them and be able to use them. The look new, smell new, and for all purposes new to me and work, and that's something I'm impressed with!
The came in an appropriate shipping box and so well packaged with bubble wrap that not a single thing made a noise when handling the box - great packaging of the drives and shipping of the drives couldn't have gone more smoothly.
So buy these drives with confidence, which I receive no compensation for my personal review given here. I might add this - give a server a third or fourth life instead of filling up a landfill. They're built for 24/7/365 use and can easily run for more than a decade with a little care and maintenance!Read full review...

First replacement in 8 years
We are runnning four servers with 30 of this drive. This was a replacement for 8-year running drive that hadn't failed but was occassionally giving write-faults (once every 2 weeks or so, no data loss) so we thought it prudent to replace it.
