HP Deskjet 5650 Printer

Although this printer was built in 2005 it was shipped as a new unopened boxed printer, exactly as advertised. This makes three of these printers that we own, the others are as old as this one is, but still function perfectly. This printer set up quickly and preforms in the manner expected. HP made a consumer mistake when they discontinued the Deskjet 5650 Printer for although the ink cartridge's are on the expensive side compared to later HP printers, its output in copies far exceeds more modern printers and the ink lasts much longer. This is an Excellent HP Printer and after searching for several years for one we feel fortunate in our purchase of this HP deskjet 5650 printer. Thanks for carrying this fine brand!

Printer did not work ; Used printer was dirtier than expected

We tried to set the printer up and it would not print. Though the printer was used, it was extremely dirty. I don't know if the issue occurred during transit. We will keep and seek to have it repaired.Read full review

Excellent print quality

This printer is the second one I have had of this model. It uses very little ink for the quality of the print. HP should have kept making this model because the new ones of comparable models use three times the ink for the quality of print.Read full review

I got this exact model because I was knowing that it would be missing parts that i can easily cannibalize off of my old HP5650 ("USB on one-end, fire-wire on other end" wire; cartridges); and because i have alot of experience fixing the HP5650 printer.
