Genuine Ink With Extra In the Tank
The best thing about this product is that it is genuine. Being genuine means you know that you have peace of mind.
The next thing that make this product good is the extra ink in the tank. It is the same size as your original ink cartridge, but filled to the top. It lasts nearly as long as two cartridges would do depending on what you are printing.
The only thing is the price. So look what a normal 304 costs and a 304XL costs. if the difference is less then 50% you have a bargain.Read full review...

Genuine HP XL ink cartridges print clearly and last a long time
I buy only genuine HP cartridges as they provide clear printing, vibrancy (with the colour cartridge) and the XL cartridges last a good time.

Have to use them -- no option
As the makers have designed the printer so that it cannot be used without "genuine" cartridges I have no option but to use them. They are good but expensive. When I had my previous printer I could use "non genuine" cartridges. It is something I will have to make sure of when I have to buy another machine! As sure as God made little green apples I am certainly not inclined to purchase another HP printer.

Disappointing
Disappointing!!, thought nice value products and brought a few from cartridge king and some for other members of family with same printer.
Sadly the black and colour inks lasted only quarter usage and the printer refused to carry on printing with them - saying the ink error / run out of ink message.
Did all the troubleshooting, view online help and spoken to HP and seems printers okay and so must be the cartridges?
On a second set and very worried these could follow the same pattern - watch this space!
So not sure if these really are a fair buy?
Unless they are not the proper cartridges or look a like/fakes or refills - this information does come up on various forums.
Maybe pay more and go direct to HP?
