Great calculator

Particularly for brushing up on math. Plenty of free apps online.
Graphing is beautiful. Super fast! Highly recommended.
If you’re tired of using calculator apps. Want the tactile feel of real keys, this is the one. The multitouch screen is a real plus.
And for you RPN fans, this does allow you to set it for RPN entry. Just not in CAS mode. Battery charge lasts long. Lots of memory for apps. The screen is bright and text is very readable.
Absolutely no issues or complaints from me. I use it in my electronics work. Buy it!

Fast, powerful, hard to approach.

It is very difficult to learn its workings. Pedagogical material to help in this regard is sparse and hard to come by. There was no documentation that came with the product. The user guide (on HP's site) is more than 600 pages long. I would have to follow a course to show how to do things. It looks pretty powerful in what it can accomplish. I didn't suspect such a rough learning curve. Nice to have, tough to digest.Read full review

Fantastic calculator

I'm a practicing engineer and use the HP Prime in my work. The calculator treats complex math as a complex data type which makes calculations easy. In addition HP has a virtual HP Prime calculator which runs on a Windows computer. Programs developed on the virtual calculator can be readily transferred to the physical calculator or shared with coworkers. Read full review

HP starts to say goodbye to RPN

Although RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) is still available as an entry mode on this calculator, it is no longer the native entry mode. The user will have to get used to using Algebraic and "Textbook" entry modes to get full benefits from this device. This is especially true using the CAS (Computer Algebra System) features of this unit which does not provide for RPN entry.Read full review

Most Powerful RPN Calculator

The HP Prime (G2) calculator is the most powerful calculator I have ever used. It is fast, and has a color touchscreen display, which no other calculator has, which makes it easier to use. Besides the CAS mode, it also supports RPN, which in my opinion makes it an Engineering necessity.Read full review

HP Prime - the perfect companion

HP Prime is the last in line of schientific calculators from HP going back to the old seventies.
HP Prime is up to date on functions and connection. The guys at HP have kept the classic best calculator keyboard ever made, and RPN input is still optional (which is a dealbreaker for me). The color screen has a high resolution and good contrast. No problem with reading in misc light conditions. I give it a top score and my recommandations. The HP Prime is a nice piece of work from HP :-)

HP Prime Graphing caculator is excellent

I have used HP calculators for science and engineering since 1974. My old favorites were 28S and 49G+. The Prime is my new favorite because the bright full color display has 10 lines x 33 characters. The display is easy on the eyes and has great contrast. The keyboard is easy to read and navigate. The rechargeable lithium battery has long life.Read full review

Hp prime - calculadora grafica

Aunque se desvia considerablemente de la linea original de HP... Definitivamente es un excelente producto... Impacta su diseño y su velocidad de procesamiento. Personalmente pienso que es mejor que la TI nspire cas.Read full review

New Buyer

I bought this off of an add that called it "HP graphing wireless calculator". As it turns out that is what HP calls it as well on their website. Problem is this is not a wireless calculator until you buy the classroom kit for $170 with the wireless modules and antenna. But I sure don't need thirty of them. Also even with this kit its only wireless to the base antenna. It's not WiFi ever, and it sure as heck doesn't COME with wireless capability built right in.

Otherwise this is an excellent calculator for what I paid.
