Good all round phone nice an easy to use can be a bit slow at times.
Battery life lasts a day (just) but this is the norm for most htcs
Ideal first time htc…. Top phone for the price…

Easy to use

Love this phone it has a qwerty keyboard to send and type email messages but the battery runs out quickly bought a different battery that last longer now works much longer.

Excellent phone.

Bought this as an upgrade to my HTC Legend as I wanted a physical keyboard as well as a decent Android touchscreen. Rooted and running CM7 this is a fantastic phone. Fast, smooth and good battery life for a smartphone. Lasts a long day (16+ hours) with WiFi and data on, with lots of texting, emailing and games played over the day (including GBA emulator). The hinge is sturdier than some reviews led me to believe and the keyboard is so quick for typing. This is easily the best phone I have owned and is one of my favourite tech purchases.Read full review...

The HTC Desire Z is a pure joy to use, bizarrely it's processor slightly slower than it's HTC Desire, it does not show, even running side by side. The touch screen is responsive and the drop down keyboard is a pure class. The only down side is the availability of cases, the drop down nature requires a 2 part case that either covers so much that the phone does not close, or is so bulky it looks like something JCB might make, but I have found a semi-hard rubber cover that the 2 halves just sit in (like iPhone 4 cases) and it performs nicely.

The phone has every app you'll ever need installed ready, a huge GB card included and a wealth of features to interest every class of buyer. That is what makes it perfect for all, it is a touch smart phone, but has the drop down keyboard for professionals.

Great Phone!!!

Great phone, easy to use, fast, great keypad only problem is the battery life but if i upgrade from the stock battery it performs better, but still a fantastic phone

This was bought for my son, who is 'over the moon' with his new mobile phone as it does so much more than his previous one.
