I bought this to treat the undersides of the mudguards on my classic Harley which had been gently blasted and painted. The idea was to act as a self-healing and water-dispersing schutz type coating and put off the return of the rust. I applied by brush without thinning and it worked fine for unseen, but otherwise underprotected places.

Rusty patio stains solved.
Used it for the hollow sections of my steel patio chairs that were leaving lots of rusty stains on my new patio. Took the plastic end caps off the chairs squirted the waxoil in with a large plastic syringe and then with a piece of flexible curtain wire with cloth tied to it spread the waxoil around the hollow sections. Difficult to apply it needs heating up “I used a pot with boiling water” and thinning with white spirit to enable it to be sprayed, when on it take a long time to dry. Time will tell if it’s as good as they say at arresting and protecting against rust. Read full review

Would recommend it to anyone. I can remember using it on my new BMC 1100 in 1964 and spilling a drop on the outside bodywork and it was still there when I sold the Car in 1972. Really durable!
