change from paperback to hardback

had these books for over 20 years and have now change all of hem from paperback to hardback, only one I cannot get hold of is hardback philosophers stone so bought the new hardback gryff edition. just for myself to stop them getting damaged.Read full review...

Awesome children's novel; great value for a period-accurate hardcover.

First of all: the one I got was not a Bloomsbury hardcover, but a Ted Smart 2nd printing from, I believe, 1998. Apart from some age related wear (the dust jacket is a bit wrinkled, and the union between the last pages and the endpapers is worn), it's in great condition, no missing or damaged pages.

About the novel: what can be said about this book that hasn't been said in 25 years? It's charming, fun, witty, and the main mystery of the year is great. We get to know a bit about magic world history from before Harry's time, and new characters make a lasting impression, while Harry, Ron and Hermione's friendship develops in a believable way.Read full review...
