Hasbro Star Wars The Black Series Han Solo Action Figure

Wanted to get the OG Star Wars crew in 6 inch Black Series

I'm mostly into 1:18 or 3.75" scale Star Wars Black Series, but for whatever reason I decided to pick up a few of the 6 in figures from the same line. I started a while back and got R2-D2 and kept him on the shelf. then I got Leia. And Luke. And Obi-Wan. And 3PO. But Han was a little more elusive. I guess people love nerf herders...
Anyway, when I did see a Han on eBay, people were asking way too much in my opinion to the point of ridiculousness. So I waited. And waited. And finally found a fair price for a figure with a decent box and not opened.
The detail is of course amazing and this is one of the "older" Black Series before the Photo Real face versions. Must be weird to be an actor and see yourself preserved in action figure form.Read full review

Smuggler's Gambit!

The captain of the Millennium Falcon in all his glory. Epic figure. If you're looking at this version and the newer Empire Strikes Back version, I would recommend this one. Yes the face and skin tone are vastly superior in the ESB version and if that's something that matters the most to you then you will love that one too. Still, not only is the New Hope look more iconic in my eyes (not the better film but better look for sure) but the accessories are more plentiful and better made in my opinion. In this version you get the stormtrooper belt with an E-11 blaster and holster for it. You get his DL-44 with the belt and holster for it as well. Also the iconic DL-44 looks much better on this version. It's much smaller and the scope isn't correct on the ESB release. This one looks perfect, also you get an extra set of hands. They're the flight/race looking gloves and of course one holds the blaster with a trigger finger for a realistic pose but also the off hand is open in sort of a cowboy who just drew his pistol and is ready to duel sort of style. Very cool. If you can afford both I recommend both but if it's a choice I would get this ANH version first!Read full review

Han Solo Episode 4 A New Hope

I like this figure articulation. There is only 2 problems I have with this Han. One is the gloves are not painted. Two is the body sculpt of the figure does not compare to Harrison Fords build, figure looks to skinny, just a bit. Overall cool accessories. I hope black series considers the fact.
