This medium format film camera is all about quality. Ease of use and convenience have nothing to do with this camera. For this reason I use this camera along side with Nikon D90 and Canon S95. But if what I really want is the best quality image disregarding cost or time then I will use this camera. The choice of film is another thing that makes film cameras such a good proposition for people. Depending on what type of look I want to go for I can choose from various types of film.
The Hasselblad 500 v series cameras feel great to use. They have a very satisfying noise when using the winder and shutter release buttons. This makes you feel like you are using a high quality hand crafted item that was built to last.
Like I said I would have just this camera on its own as its not always convenient enough. But it’s great to have it as an option.Read full review...

A great classic camera.

An excellent camera for medium format photography. Be sure to find a serviced example however, a CLA for a Hasselblad will set you back at least £150 and perhaps much more if parts are required. Also be aware that the lenses for these must be C or CF type with their own internal shutters and are therefore expensive.Read full review...
