Family Entertainment
Well, not only was this a story about the housekeeper Hazel it was about her and the Baxter family, Hazel was very outgoing and lovable, maybe too much for George to handle, as often seen how very many times, she was trying to please George's clients inviting them to dinner, and helping them the best way she could, which they at times approved, and dissaproved her helping hand, George had his hands full with her, and like the rest of the family, with everything that went on in that household, everybody loved Hazel. I do too.

Hazel the housekeeper, who saved the day.
The lovely Whitney Blake was the genuine reason to watch this show. And then in the final year, her replacement Lynn Borden was.
It's like old times watching Hazel
We watched Hazel every Thursday night when it first came on the air on NBC. It was a weekly event. We loved it then and we love it now (via these DVDs). Good, clean comedic entertainment! It has not lost it's charm from 50+ years ago. Shirley Booth was perfect for the part, and the supporting actors were well chosen too. Buy this DVD....you'll like it!!Read full review
