Better than expected!
Its not the quietist unit, especially on full power, but it is small and light and easy to set up. I have it on low in the bedroom and it is better than a normal fan as the air is cooler due to evaporation. It is not so noisy to keep you awake. I would consider buying another. good idea just shame it doesnt seem to work,will cool you down if you are literally sitting on top of it. wanted for my daughters bedroom which is the size of a double bed so very small and gets very hot,made no difference unless she holds it to her face!! put it in front of her fan to blow the coolish air further which helped but you have to wait 20 mins so the water may be cool when you put it in but not when you can use it,may try the freezing suggested on here but not holding my breath as no one else said that made a difference either.Read full review...

Just chillin
I tried the fan unit with water in and it worked well. I added ice to the water but it did not appear to make it cooler. I also soaked the filter and put it in the freezer as per the instructions. this also does not appear to make it cooler.
Design looks nice but you cannot pick it up without spilling water. Instructions advise not to pick it up with water in.
I wish that I had this in my old office
