Classic film

Despite being an avid fan of aviation themed movies I had never seen this film anywhere till I saw it on EBay. Thanks to the digital reconstruction it was flawless an despite the dated screenplay was quite enjoyable. The flying sequences capture the reality of WW1 combat in the air, and apart from the melodramatic finale (bearing in mind the era in which it was made) was well worth its addition to my film library.Read full review...

I was enthralled by this true story of Diana with the actors playing of their parts with such likeness of the real people.

Pre code WW1 drama. Surprisingly explicit.

A good opportunity to look at Jean Harlow's 1st real performance. Also nice to see Ben Lyon (married to Bebe Daniels). As a spectacle and precode film definitely worth seeing.

There is nothing I dislike about my purchase. I bought it because there are not many films about the Airmen in the First World War and I have seen the Aviator and wanted to see this film. I am glad I purchased it because I found it very enjoyable. I have got Aces High and this one is as good if not better. Highly recommended if you like aviation films.Read full review...
