THE BEATLES - HELP - (Apple Films) - 1964

I've always loved the Beatles. Still got an old VHS of Magical Mystery Tour but only recently saw 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT' when it was shown on BBC 2
Absolutely loved that movie, the fab four were superb and Wilfred Brambell (Steptoe & Son) was a real asset to the cast.
'HELP' was good but not as good as the previous movie. The bonus was that it was in COLOUR. I was expecting it to be Black & White as was the 1964 release.
The story/plot is all a bit surreal - a religious clan are after a priceless gemstone that Ringo has acquired in the form of a 'ring' (he collects rings!).
The twists and turns are a bit daft, even slightly irritating at times but the overall performances, sets, costumes and of course, the music make it a must see for any Beatles fan.
I was really pleased with this 2nd Hand purchase. The discs and packaging were virtually mint and given that some sellers are asking around £60 for previously owned copies I think this was £15 well spent.
