Excellent acting throughout, and very enjoyable, very accessible Shakespeare
This version has a more "realistic" feel than the Laurence Olivier film which seems more theatrical, though they are both very enjoyable. A young Kenneth Branagh seemed to be good for the part of Henry V, who was I believe 29 at the time of the battle, and I found his portrayal quite moving at times. Emma Thompson was a believable medieval princess, very attractive but not too "pretty". Excellent acting throughout, and Richard Briers nose was spellbinding. Read full review

Quite a good film
Not quite as good as the 1944 version with Laurence Olivier, especially the "arrow swarm" scene.

Best version of Henry V
I love this film, the acting, the production and of course the dialogue. Look out for a very early performance from Christian Bale.
