First love, and its consequences against the backdrop of war.
Being an English language tutor, I bought the book as it is required reading for GCSE English.
Although clearly aimed at teenagers, it is not an easy book for that age group, as it randomly jumps between 3 different time periods. An interesting, well written story, and a good introduction to more challenging reading material.Read full review...
