This collection seems to have a desired artistic form while teaching an action packed part of history. There is a major problem where the music mixing overpowers the narrative with an obstructive theme. The musical score does NOT complement the various stories. In small areas where there is no music and you are able to hear the narrative, some is interesting. And much is inaccurate. The whole time the Douglas SBD Dauntless is being described, there are scenes of the Curtiss SB2C dive bomber that replaced the Dauntless. At the very end of the story, there is a quick view of the plane being described.
There are inaccuracies throughout the stories. It wasn't until the arrival the B-29 in late 1943 that the B-24 was relabeled as a medium bomber. And the B-24 had a longer range and heavier payload than the B-17, but just the opposite is claimed in this series.
There are some good views of many planes and I spent less than $5, so that is why I considered this a good value. If you have a background on the various planes that were used in WWII, you would probably watch this to enjoy the pics, but if you bought this to learn, you made a big mistake.
