The alarms are compact and reasonably unobtrusive when fitted. Pairing the devices is easy using the step by step instructions, which also includes the user instructions. The units are supplied with twin stick adhesive pads for fixing or for temporary holding of the units, however the unit come supplied with plastic plugs and screws which should be used. All round good product and a reasonable price which I would recommend. The units are easily checked, although it helps to have someone to assist with verifying the remote heads. Remember these are 10 year life units and the lithium battery is non replaceable. Read full review

Likely to have a short life.

The price seems good until you read the small print. The product has a 5 year warranty & the sealed batteries are said to last 10 yrs. However it would appear that when the batteries come to the end of their lives so do the products as the batteries may not be replaced. Took me a little time & patience to understand the instructions & "pair" all three items I bought.Read full review

Reliable brand easily connected and installed.

Bought this to replace one in which the battery had died after 3 years. Could have been due to where it was sited . Connected it to existing alarms easily enough. Only thing lacking was the adhesive tape to stick to uneven ceiling. Nails only supplied. Gorilla tape did the trick. The HiSpec is a good reliable brand and I would replace with same system at end of battery life.Read full review

Great kit at a great price, very simple installation.

Good piece of kit, at a very good price. Due to the new fire prevention laws coming to Scotland, Feb 2022 this is the exact kit you need. There are many others out there, costing double the price, usually being sold by Alarm companies and door vendors. This kit is very easy to install and set up, I done our house in under 30 minutes. Neat and noisy

Neat product (so unobtrusive) and easy to install. Not sure all alarms are talking to one another, but the cottage is old in parts with thick stone walls not favouring wi-fi and anyway the alarms make such a din when triggered that any single one would be likely to wake the whole street. Household Heat and Smoke alarms

The Hispec wireless interlink smoke and heat alarms arrived quick. They appear well made and once I had them paired it was easy to place them in position. When I activated one of them a few seconds later all the alarms activated. These are battery operated with a 10 year life and as such I did'nt have to dismantle half my house to install them. Clear instructions, work well.

Included very clear instructions and mostly easy to set up. One unit was very tight to turn and I needed help from a stronger person! I think this was just a fluke as others were fine .Also needed to replace one or two screws as those provided were weak (won't be a problem if you use stickers provided). A very simple kit and the instructions are easy to follow, I purchased the heat smoke and co kit as this will cover all my needs. The size of each alarm is compact so not an eyesore and they blend into the background so the look is good.

Great Value Detectors

I fitted these yesterday. It took about 30 mins to fit 2 smoke and 1 heat detector. Simple easy to follow instructions. The detectors are much smaller than any I have seen before, very inconspicuous. Really pleased with them. Hopefully I will never know if they do their job. Read full review
