Smart little achiever when your built in optical derive dies

Bought to ensure i can record M-discs when this laptop goes to heaven and so many new laptops are high spec but no optical drive so usb it is. Got similar to enable Light-Scribe labeling which is not on any laptop in the market that i know of. It is slim and quiet - am well pleased.

Nice little machine

Good build quality and easy to use, just plugged it in, waited 2 minutes for driver to install and job done, only problem I've had is it doesn't rip my CDs very well, even new CDs, not sure if that's the machine or my software though. Does the job

Does the job, although with OSX it will power down and the eject button stops working. Once you unplug/replug the USB cable, it spins up again and the eject button works. Noisy, as these drives usually are. Read full review

Great cd writer

Although it is used it is very fast at ripping cds and takes the strain off my Brennan B2’s cd drive
