It stops the door from slamming and prevents little fingers being trapped, but it doesnt fit well. Too loose on the side of the door so has to be put at the top of the door.

Saves little fingers, and allows roaming!

I bought these before, about eight or nine years ago, to save grandchildren's little fingers. Now they have a duel purpose, save little fingers AND allow the cat to ( paw ) open the door, to roam from room to room. No more plaintive requests to open door so she can get to the...... ahem!........ utility room! The only reason I need to replace them now is, they can't ( eventually ) withstand the people who forget they are there, and try ( really hard ) to close the door.
