Everyone Should Read This Book.

Everyone should read this book,it helped me to unravel current behaviors based on my 'inner child', and everyone has got one of those.
The book is easy to understand with real practical help on how to change things.
I bought this book because I wanted to look at why I wasn't happy. This book really helped me to identify the reasons why and how to make changes.

A must read for Everyone!

We have all been wounded to a greater or lesser degree in our childhoods. And even with the best will in the world our parents were themselves wounded and could never meet all of our needs (let alone theirs).

In this excellent book, John Bradshaw, explains how we become wounded and which roles we take on that we then take forth into the world - eg the Princess, the Hero, the Caretaker, the Rebel and how they influence our lives and our relationships, of course.

He has you go though various ages and 'recall' events - like when you started school and journal how it felt and your feelings etc. Very deep work actually and the book really helped me to see what wounds I was carrying and how to deal with them. I cried a lot too - very cathartic!

I think everyone should read this book. It's well written and the author is really passionate about his subject and trying to help others.
