Homeland - The Completer Fourth Season

This is a hard movie to watch and even harder not to watch. It really sucks you into the plot and keeps you on the edge of your seat. This is not a movie for the weak of heart or delicate stomach, it will really churn you up and spit you out if you not up for it. I like the adrenaline rush and ever changing plot twists without losing the believe-ability of the story line. Claire Danes really carries the load well and seems to not have missed a beat picking up the brunt of the starring role. Hopefully the show can continue as it literally seems to be an editorial on where America is heading. This is a totally adult series and should not be for family viewing, its way beyond a PG-13 rating and may as well be an R. There are very little redeeming moral values in this series so its probably better to rent it if you must because its not one you would want the kids popping in accidentally, unless you don't care about emotionally scarring your children. With reality based shows like this is it any wonder that no one wants to back America's open borders policy.Read full review

Great show poor disk organization

This is a great series, video quality is very good. 5 stars for this. Problem is there is no ability to choose individual episodes. Main menu offers this option but doesn't work. Very frustrating to fast forward to episode to watch. Same problem with season 1..3. Read full review

Riveting and Worth the Adrenaline Expenditure.

This is among the best intelligence/intrigue series ever produced. The direction, story writing, character development, acting, could not be better. The chemistry between characters is exceptionally suspenseful; these are lives intensely lived, and I believe they are real every second that I watch them. While I understand the characters who view their obsessions and activities as a crazy, insane way to live, my sympathy is totally with the characters who live this life of adventure and intrigue that I in no way want for myself. This series is absolutely gripping and one of the best of all time Carrie is now head of CIA in Kabul her character is always all wound up as smart as she is she lacks better judgment for the end game Claire Dunes is tremendous in this role Quinn is becoming more visible and is Carries rock to always lean on I just wish this series would never end Read full review

Good if you are a Homeland Fan, but less action and wants to get in touch with your feminine side.

Show has taken out a lot of the action and spy drama and replaced it with Carrie's internal conflict with being a mother and an agent. Plot migrates to a soap opera atmosphere, but if you are hooked on the show, you might as well watch it and wait for Season 5 to come out if you are not connected to Showtime.

It's foolish to make suggestions based on one's own taste in entertainment. For those who compute these factors into deciding what to watch or buy, "Homeland" is often violent and features nudity. It is also probably the most moving, suspenseful, and also tragic television series ever filmed. If you have a homebound adult interested in politics, particularly geo-politics, with no small amount of romance thrown in, and who is not bothered by the minimal graphic scenes encountered everywhere on the small screen today, this collection would make a superb gift that almost certainly would be re-watched multiple times. Homeland 4th Season

This season is okay put not as good as the 3 seasons that preceed it. It does pick up in the last few episodes. If the series started with this one I most likely wouldn't continue watching Homeland.

Strong Middle

The middle of this season is good - sadly the beginning and the end are not. It's very disappointing ... perhaps they should've quit while they were ahead. Still, I will probably check out Season 5 to see whether they jumped a shark or just had a bad season.
