Not bad but not perfect
As another reviewer has said the colour is slightly off the original Honda dash grey, also the quality is not as good either. On the whole though it does the job and allows fitment of a decent stereo which make a huge difference on the poor Honda factory fit unit. The standard speakers actually are not bad at all and installing a decent quality Kenwood 4017DAB head unit has made the world of difference. All in all happy but just a shame that the manufacture did not get the colour 100% correct, more like about 90%Read full review...

Decent kit overall, but poor quality fascia
I was initially surpised at the cost of this kit, but it does indeed include everything you need to get your double din working and wired to the steering wheel controls.
Good points:
All adapters and cables are included and of sufficient quality.
Able to use steering wheel controls
Bad points:
- The fascia itself comes with no instructions whatsoever. The material used is a cheap plastic, which doesn't match the Civic's standard dashboard material in feel, and the colour is slightly off.
- The cage adapters did not fit with the cage installed (mine was a Sony double din) and I had to squeeze it in with just one.
- The plastic clips on the fascia don't have the spring clips that are needed to replace a standard head unit, but they can be removed from it and used. The plastic itself is very thing and easily broken, I broke the bottom right one by trying to push it in to click it in place.
Not a fault of this product, but you have to take a large amount of the interior apart, in order to get to the stereo.Read full review...

Worked eventually and been fine for week+ to date... but in my experience its overpriced for a poor quality and fault ridden product.
Poor quality product to start with instructions are poor, the fascia is cheap build its colour does not match the existing dashboard.. Its not loads out yet it isnt right.
You need to remove clips from old original dash to mount them into a new one.. why they must be only few pence fitting old parts into a new one ? i started removing the hazard button from original fascia and fitting to new yet even though i was only using a small screwdriver and it was straight the screw going in yet the fascia started splitting apart even though it wasn't even tight at the time.
The loom connections was another problem i spent hours messing about only to find the problem was one of the wires constantly had been pushing itself out when plugged in :( at that point i though at last yet when i tried to push the fascia into place it wouldn't go anywhere near fitting in so i looked about the problem area to find the bottom left area where the fascia needed to go had no chance of fitting it so i started cutting away, I was upto the side of the glovebox so i couldnt cut anymore yet it still wasn't a 100% fit yet would go in.
So eventually i got it all working yet fascia still isn't in proper it sits out on passenger side some and loads of people ive spoken to had the same problem of it not fitting.
If it was a cheap Chinese id thought well get what you pay for yet ive had cheap Chinese gear and not had half as much problems, fact its a item costing £100+ its very poor qualityRead full review...

Great fascia kit
Great kit, with all the leads necessary for your steering wheel controls to work on an aftermarket stereo, antenna lead and another lead i forgot. Fits in nicely with a double din stereo, you may need to different size cage to fit your stereo but I got this fitted from a local audio center. Price is high and I couldn't find any cheaper!Read full review...

Good after market option
I was worried the fascia wouldn’t match the dash but it is pretty perfect on colour. You do need to remove some clips from your original radio but it is easy. Depending on what radio you (I used a Pioneer double din) I did have to trim a tiny part of the dash but you cannot see it and it wasn’t difficult. Great item even allow display to keep working and click setting etcRead full review...

Gen8 Civic installation kit
easy to fit and works perfectly through the multi function steering wheel(not the fascia panel though that is a different kettle of fish).Very helpful comms with car audio

Good not perfect.
All the leads work properly but leave a mass of wiring behind the unit.
Fascia would not sit properly flush no matter what I did, however looks OK unless you are a perfectionist. A small piece of trim needed to be removed for the stereo to fit.
A lot of interior trim needs to be removed/reinstalled on a Civic MK 8 so you need some confidence.
Overall not bad and the only way to install a double din stereo on a Civic. Read full review...

Good, with a few flaws
Works really well but for two flaws.
1. Seems to have disabled our parking website (potentially something we didn’t do right).
2. Didn’t perfectly fit our old stereo housing. Has an extra clip that wouldn’t fit anywhere and it was too wide. We’ve had to cut and file away some of the inside dash of the car.
Also, be prepared for ZERO instructions!Read full review...

Not a great kit.
The wires are all great and work perfectly. However, the double din fascia is awful, it's grey, not black. It also doesn't fit at all and I will know have to buy another fascia because it's so bad. Not happy with it. I was expecting a connects 2 fascia but this appears to be some Chinese rubbish. I'd Stay clearRead full review...

A simple all in one solution
This kit has everything you need to fit a double din unit to a mark 8 Honda Civic. You don't need a cage as the included clips hold the unit securely. All of the leads are included and fitting is fairly straightforward. The only thing you need to watch is the removal of the existing trim, which is covered by tutorials on YouTube. All in all a good productRead full review...
