does not work with older electric 1H/1C that have aux heat - for that you need the model 5220D 2H/2C; good news is that it does have a nice backlit green screen as pictured in some listings; note that the suffix numbers indicate whether or not it is dual powered or only battery since the price is different; mfr website say both models 5110D & 5220D come in 2 different screen sizes, but listings did not indicate screen size; color listed as gray but really is an off-white; has no terminal for a white wire, so have to trace every color in your harness from air handler to thermostat and hope you have all your original wiring schematics or the manual for your older unit since you will have no clue how the last guy installed the unit you are replacingRead full review

Thermostat is a little on the small side but the display is large enough for most people to be able to read easily. Simple to navigate and lights up with the touch of any button. Very basic controls consist of fan off on and Auto. Cool off and Heat. And temperature up and down. That's it. Roughly 4 inches by 3 Inches in size.
