This is a compact quality unit.
Some previous knowledge is useful but not essential.
Remember to bridge any zones you aren't using with a small piece of wire.
Turn up the volume by turning the volume pot. anti-clockwise if necessary.
Extra speaker might be necessary if you are hiding the unit away.
Backlit controls are great at night. Advanced features if you want them, ignore if you don't.
100% happy, features v price.

Entry, Exit volume needs improving

Entry, Exit sounder very quite even when volume pot is adjusted. Needs to be improved, otherwise a good easy to install unit.

Easy swap for faulty Optima XL

I found this panel fairly straightforward to wire up. It is superior to the Optima XL, which it replaced. The only criticism I would have is that there are too many zones. (Although this would be an advantage in some systems.
