Good value for money - it was nice to have this replacement - I had the old one taped up after dropping and chipping the plastic. Was pleased to find a replacement part at a good price.

Poor design - Don't drop it...EVER!
Made from brittle plastic and not the most secure way of fitment into the dryer door. After a single accidental drop therefore it is likely that it will be cracked or damaged beyond repair unless you have the softest kitchen, utility room or garage flooring which is not likely.
Fits with a lower locator 'tab', front slots for 2 moulded door pieces and a plastic 'hook' at the top. Synchronising all these items is tedious and not straight forward as some of the door plastics distort meaning the water cannister no longer fits first time, sometimes not at all which is when it easily falls out when the door is opened.
Ridiculous design, less than robust materials and after a few breakages replacement cost creeping near to the price of the machine.
No comeback on those that sell these just at Hoover for such a useless product for which no doubt they make a lot of money out of customers as a result.

Not the supplier's fault
The water container is a very good idea and works excellent when new, but, after a while splits start appearing on the bottom and water leaks into the system making it less cost and time effective (using more electric because of having to tumble twice).
I have brought a few of these water container's from different suppliers and the same thing has happened to all of them. It shows that the supplier is not at fault but that the manufacturer is.Read full review...

Good quality water containers
Well I thought I would need a new dryer, with all the water leaking, turns out to be an easy fix, even though the manufacturers should come up with a better product, or inform us that it needs replacing yearly, less of the moan 😂

Terrible

Rubbish
I have had the tumble dryer for just 18 months and I am on my 5 bottle. The one I currently using bought it recently and been using it for under two weeks and it is already cracked just like the rest. Very disappointed. Should of stick with non condenser tumble dryer.
