If you care about true repeatability of your reloaded ammunition, you need to use this tool. It makes comparing your loaded lengths a breeze.
Also when used with the Hornady chamber length gauge you can set up your seating dies for optimum throat setback. I am finding these tools to be invaluable when getting the best accuracy out of my Thompson Center Pro-Hunter barrels and other rifles. This is a fantastic product. If you reload rifle ammo you diffently need one of these. It is really important to be able to measure to bullet ogive. Especially if you load soft point or any type of plastic tipped bullets like hornady nosler, or Barnes.
