Little improvement from previous model.
Hornby have tried to improve the lighting connection by having two connectors with wires. This could have been better thought out as the wires from the connector on the PCB go under the cab rear bulkhead which is glued to the chassis. When you remove the body the wires to the connector on the lighting unit are likely to come off the connector as they are too short and of a small gauge, i.e. the connector on the lighting unit measures 6x2 mm and has 3 wires connected to it and you have to disconnect this to seperate the body from the chassis. Loco still pulls well and is good value at the right price.Read full review

Poor wiring/connectors on directional lighting.
Wires are too short, to thin and flimsy.
If you remove the body to fit a dcc decoder be very careful. I was, but one just fell apart.
