READ a movie! This is the ONE!
The story is fresh and original. The characters are perfect and the only time I stopped watching was to change discs. I have TWO copies now, because I will surely wear out the first. Lee Min-ho being the lead was def a reason I wanted to see this and I was NOT disappointed. All the characters were perfectly cast espec 'Mermaid' (no spoiler) Jun Ji-hyun. The visuals were captivating, the action was great and having watched this over 9 times (because I needed subtitles and it took a couple watchings to catch what I missed, but I didn't mind AT ALL). You will watch this over and over. This will be a favorite for everyone. There's no significant swear words, not ENOUGH romantic interaction-but that only added to the story-line. I loved this drama. The actors were excellent, especially in the funny scenes between the mermaid and land humans. The underwater swimming effects were amazingly believable.
