Cheaper than a new washing machine.
When the door wouldn't open the wife was insisting on a new washing machine? fortunately I had heard about replacement handles. I bought this for £9, watched a quick You Tube video on how to fit it? Took me about 15 minutes to fit, so easy to do and works perfectly.Read full review...

A patch for a very bad design
Brought this. Thankfully works as well as the original .... which sadly for hotpoint is a very bad design. This is my second. The first broke after a few months hard work. But so did the original.

Perfect fit.
No instructions so a bit of a puzzle to work out how it goes together given that your one will be broken and in bits. if you're not practical or don't understand how return springs work you may have some trouble getting it right. Trial and error is the order of the day. It took me a couple of goes to get it right, about twenty minutes start to finish. Then it went back on the machine and is working perfectly. Saved about £75 in labour/call-out/VAT doing it myself.Read full review...

Fixed broken handle no problem
Fixed my washing machine.
Didn't need to pay call out fees or repair company bill.
It was a bit fiddly, but not beyond a 50 something lady to DIY.
The easiest way is to take the door off, assemble the handle, fit, put door back together and re hang.
Needed a cross hatch screwdriver and teeny socket set for the door.Read full review...

Great, all parts included
Handle fitted perfectly, couple of tips, take photos beforehand, of mechanism, spring ect, also lot easier with door removed, to fit.

A worthy replacement
This replacement part fitted first time and so far is performing well. There are however flaws in the design of this part in that eventually it is destined to fail as the original did. This is in no way the fault of the supplier though but one that the manufacturers should address it thinkRead full review...

Easy to put together, but could do with instructions as needs manoeuvre back and forth into place
Saves getting a new door and cheaper . The first time I’ve attempted to fix my washing machine myself, and I followed the instructions and did it myself, not bad for a 68 year old with no electrical skills, thank youRead full review...

Replacement door handle
Good quality replacement door handle 👍....
Recommend taking broken one off and keeping as a guide for the replacement as the small parts are to be assembled .....
Took me all of 20 minutes to replace the broken handle 👍👍Read full review...

Perfect fit
Feel like you wanna take the risk with a cheaper one, go for it! There's no difference between the original one and the one sold here.
Quality is just the same.
