buy for laugh but not for the horror content.

brought just to see what a film based on the video game would be like and to be honest if you like spoof movies this is for you as the scariest thing about it is the acting! That said it wasn't expensive so at least I say I know what it's about if ever asked. 6 out of 10Read full review...

Don't Say The Z Word

What a terrible movie! Don't know why they even call it House Of The Dead!!!! It has nothing to do with the video game! Also The Matrix meets Dawn Of The Dead??? I think not!!!!!!!!

Very Poor Zombie flick

A very poor zombie flick based on the game but in true the only thing it has in common with the game is the name and the videos of the game spliced into the movie. The zombie make-up is terrible it looks like the just bought masks from a costume shop and they just chucked on there heads. This Uwe Boll needs to give up the directing lark and get a job in McDonald's. The acting was sometimes laughable. No wonder you never saw these people in Hollywood Blockbusters. The only redeming feature is that you get to see Erica Durance from Smallville fame breasts.Read full review...

Very Strange

Having played the games, I thought the movie might follow at least the storyline. But it was incredibly different and a lot cheesier (which is saying something if you've ever played one of them!) The decision to include rotating camera angles and footage from the game randomly throughout the film is strange and doesn't really do much for the overall effect. There are some good action scenes, and acting is pretty good considering the newcomers but it isn't paricularly good, nor bad for that matter.Read full review...

A VERY STRANGE FILM - STARTS OFF AS YOUR TYPICAL FLESH FLASHING LOVELIES BEING STALKED KINDA FILM INTO FULL ON GUN SMUGGLERS MEET ZOMBIE INVASION. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE ACTING BUT HELL IT DOES HAVE A SORT OF CHARM AND I DO HAVE TO ADMIT THAT THE GUN BATTLE WITH THE SPINNING 'MATRIX' STYLE CAMERAS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOY. Don't bother with this rubbish!

This film is so bad, acting is awful, the plot is boring, you would have as much fun watching paint dry...don't bother with this load of tosh.
