House of Wax

House of Wax is, in theory, your average run of the mill America Horror Flick - it has the rich high school teens, American football players and blonde cheerleaders and the plot 'teens go camping in creepy woods' - but it is not how it seems. There is an intellegent plot behind this film as the group encounter many different scary situations - eventually confronting the 'bad guy' at th end.

This film is worth buying - maybe not when it came out brand new but certainly now when it is at a knocked down price like on ebay.

Graeme's suggestion: Dont pay anything over 5 quid for it! and watch out for postage costs!

While the violence is nasty enough to provide some good scares, it's all as nonsensical as the idea of a house literally made of wax - which, in an attempt at wit, the film also provides. Horrific, but not necessarily in a good way.Read full review...

Ex rental DVD- Excellent

DVD was sold as ex rental but good working order. There are no scratches at all, and plays excellently. Didnt jump at all, no distortion in picture. Fantastic buy. I love this film!!!

fierce film!

I thought this film was Fabulous Fierce and Flawless ! Loved the cheesey start, which you get with most horror films honestly! thought paris hilton was brilliant, "being chased by a killer who wants to turn you into wax, in lingerie Haha, but she lasted longer than i thought! Fabulous flick!
i think one house of wax is enough though and a second would be pushing it abit to say the least !

i love this dvd seen it a few times and jared padaleki and chad micheal murray are to of the many favourite actors that i love :)

very good film.i love how they made the people with wax over live people.scary in some places though.im glad i didnt watch it alone though lol.

I really loved this movie.it was really something different and i loved the way the movie was made..actors and actresses were really good..overall i rate this movei a 9 out of 10..
