Great collection for 7-10s, pre-Harry Potter

Very popular with my dragon-obsessed child and many of his friends, and Vikings are on the UK national curriculum for his age group so he's being read the first one in class. He was absolutely thrilled to get these and they have moved him up from the oeuvre of the wonderful Dav Pilkey. Lovely covers, lots of good illustrations, well-written, and the font used, though traditional, is not too off-putting as there is decent sizing and spacing for the 7-10 age group I think this is aimed at (though these funny, nice books would be fine for younger advanced readers).
