Howard Leight 40 Laser Lite Ear Plugs - 20 Pairs

Well rated in DB, and pretty effective for earplugs!

Only the 'Stringed' Laser Lite plugs are better in my experience, having tried various other makes over many years now!
This is because the stringed units are thicker in the core, the unstringed one's are somewhat over light, so don't fill the cavity as well.
*Its not easy to fit ear-plugs properly, it takes time and care! .. pull the ears up before fitting, as it produces a better tunnel for the plug, roll, and insert quickly, retry if not in right, once inserted well, keep them in with the finger for at least a minute!
Once released, you'll hear how much settlement movement occurs, one ear tends to have more than the other for some reason!
If they stick out too much(for pillow contact) you can slightly cut the wide end down, which won't effect they're performance.Read full review

A guarded recommendation.

Excellent purchase/delivery experience from this seller. A good product, yes, but its effectiveness probably depends on the individual application.A lot softer than standard foam plugs, these plugs are more comfortable when inserted. However, because of this softness, it is difficult to 'roll' the plug into a slim profile to be inserted into the ear canal; the problem being that this plug reverts to its original profile immediately and does not appear to be able to be inserted far enough into the canal for effective noise/sound insulation. IMHO, this plug is better for protecting the ear from 'light' noise or dust particles, say while using power tools, than for countering noise disturbance during sleep. I have found a cheaper, foam product (blue earplugs) to be more effective for my needs.Read full review

If you are looking for amazing quality earplugs, here is the place to buy them! These earplugs block out noise effectively without falling out as they fit to the shape of your ears. I’ve tried other earplugs on eBay like the silicone ones and they are were not really good and very time consuming to set up in your ear. Life with less dBs

Perfectos!

I'm highly sensitive to noise in general and mainly when it's 4am in a hotel... I travel for work a lot and I already have a 3yo tinnitus...

I used the orange ones to sleep till now as these are better. Orange ones better for working outside -still using them.

Laser Lites are... well, light! Didn't see or hear any laser 'till now. They're a bit dryer on surface than the orange bros which have some kind of sticky coating on them.

I'm no expert, this is what I think. Maybe there's no coating, it's just part of the chemical formula.

Once you roll them they get way smaller than many others so if you have small ears give these a go.

Something I always did for almost ten years of wearing H Leights is cutting the top of the ear plug so it's more discreet and perfect when you're turning your head in the pillow while sleeping as they just won't come off!

I do this as my ear cannal is smaller than average.

Right... I should have a bag of 20 pairs as a freebie now... you lucky ducks on a tie! Good job HL.

The difference between having a good night sleep or not

I work a lot night shifts so sleep a lot in the day which isn't easy with noisy kids and a dog. Great for shooting

Ordered these as I needed some ear protection at short notice these arrived very quickly
At first glance I was unsure they would do the job
Well the day arrived for them to be put to the test<br>I found them very fiddly to actually fit in the ear properly without them popping back out
But once I managed to get them in they drowned most of the 12 bore out 👍🏻 I actually took them out while others were still shooting and I was amazed at how much noise they block out

Decent earplugs!

Myself and my partner use these earplugs every night as we have a very noisy neighbour who likes to blare music at all hours and because we both snore sometimes. The earplugs are really good at blocking out a good majority of the noise. We usually get away with using one pair for two nights before the quality of use lessens. They good little ear plugs at a decent price. Only downside is because they are foam they are quite big and can sometimes make your ears sore inside, and for me they make me really itchy inside my ears after a while. Not yet used ear plugs

I have purchased these ear plugs to minimise the noise of hearing rain falling on the roof of our motorhome during the night. I have not yet had the need to use them so am unable to oroperly review them. They seem to be of good quality and good value for what was paid. I cannot say I recommend them until I find out how effective they are.
