Smart looking hose
The hose reel is easy to mount on a wall and can be easily removed in winter.All the attachments are included,I did use some thicker mounting screws than the kit provided,but those supplied would have been adequate.
The reel can stow away against a wall and swing out through 180 degrees when in use.
If you need an occasional extra length,a quick release extension can be attached.
The thing is well made and looks the part,not cheap,but saves all the hassle of no retractable reels,no kinks either.The recoil mechanism uses a carriage which ensures neat return stowage.

hozelock let down
this is a very good quality product, easy to install reel works spot on, the only thing i am disappointed with is that i measured hose when fully out and it is only 18 meters long were it should be 20 meters, somebody being a bit tight with hose, very disappointed with this. Good product but vastly overpriced
This wall mounted hose system works well and the hose is of good quality ( should be seeing it is of Premium Quality.
There are lots of good features but the locking system for anti theft certainly is not one of them. Even taking into consideration the use of a long shanked lock as recommended by Hozelock does
nothing for the security of the reel since the amount of plastic a prospective thief would have to cut through is only a couple of millimetres. I have had to fabricate a metal shroud to remedy this problem.
Taking into consideration these facts I would say that this reel is vastly overpriced even though

So much better than a loose hose
Solidly built and would appear to be made to last (only time will tell though). Recoil works well and the rewind bar sorts out the incoming hose for a tidy take-up. Bought the 40m Hozelock, and it it far easier to use than the wind up one it replaces. The auto wind mechinism is the one to get. A little disapointed in the housing covers stress marking on the tabs when putting it back on after connecting the hose feed up. Also for such a heavy unit the fixing screws are thin, used thicker ones for peace of mind.
Pleased that one is able to padlock the holder in place, you cant be too careful nowadays.

This hose reel is excellent. Easy to install and has the means of attaching a lock to keep it safe from thieves. The retractable hose is perfect for keeping things tidy and it doesn't twist while using it. Just pull it out and let it back in with a slight tug on the hose.
