Great small sprayer that;s well designed and built.
Unit is well built and has not got the cheap and flimsy feel of others that are noname. Had one of these and immediately returned after total leakage. Dangerous.
This unit is well built, a bit on the small side. The spray handle is much better quality than it's cheap counterparts, has O-ring seals and silicone grease. All fits together well. The flexible hose is actually flexible and pleasant to work with. The pump is good quality, it has a good feel and although it has no pressure gauge you feel that when you can't physically pump anymore you have the right amount of pressure. When operating the unit had not a single leakage, the spray is good and adjustable. It has a safety valve / pressure release valve so opening and decompression is less risky. The feed is at the bottom of the bottle which is good that it guarantees it gets really empty. Handle is perfect for carrying even when full. It is relatively small so it's easy to carry around.
Disadvantages: Says it's 5 litres but recommended fill only 3 l! Bit of a con! No pressure gauge but not really an issue. Spring in the handle is a bit on the stiff side but bearable. No strap. This is a smaller unit for a relatively small garden. For bigger jobs the larger ones will be a better choice. I expect it to last.Read full review...

My 15 year old one was far better !!!
Shabby design, the bottle and pump seem quite good but the lance is pathetically short so you have to bend over to spray near the ground which is totally useless and the hose from the bottle to the lance is actually far too long so you would trip over it like a skipping rope, shorter pipe which is easy to do but you need to spend another ten pounds to buy the extended lance, sold separately...

Mixed thoughts
The 'bottle side of it is fine, strong and robust. I don't like the lance though. I think it could be better, it's far to short which means you have to bend down if you're spraying the lawn. also you have to keep your hand on the button all the time it's in operation as there's no clip to hold it down. sprays ok and at least there is a spare parts market if you need to replace anything.Read full review...

Streams not sprays
I'm sure this product would be great if it worked properly. When i first used it, the liquid only streamed & wouldn't spray. I went on youtube to watch a video on assembly, as the instructions weren't too clear. I had assembled it correctly but it still wouldn't spray. Emailed hozelock but had no response. Good but not what I expected
Having a large garden I wanted a large sprayer so I bought the 5litre spray, I was disappointed when it arrived as it only holds a maximum of 3litres of liquid the other 2 litres has to air compressed to make the 5litre. The irritating part of this product is that it is described as 5 litre. It's not. Its only 3 litre operating capacity.
Yes it does say in much smaller numbering 3 litre. but it is advertised as 5 litre and the number 5 is much more prominent. It's like selling a 2 litre bottle of milk, but only putting one lire in it!Read full review...
