Great Product. Easy to fit and use.
This reel is simple to install as everything is provided. It pulls out very easily and is a dream to rewind as the 'screw' mechanism evens out the winding onto the reel. In short it does what it says on the tin! Yes there are cheaper brands out there but in this case you do get what you paid for. Highly recommended.Read full review

Hozelock 40 m garden hose
Over the last few years I have purchased a few of the lightweight expandable hoses. They are so easy to use and give a promise that they are heavy duty, but in reality, are only functional for a very short portion before they burst. I had the earliest ones replaced easily, but the last one required me to return it to China at my expense! I thought I was dealing with
a UK company, so there was no way I was going to attempt to post 150 ft of hose and attachments overseas. I had it repaired many times, each time reducing its length, but it used to be good for about 2 uses before it burst again. Good quality, effective hosepipe
The hosepipe arrives fully assembled which is great and it is very straight forward to put the bracket on the wall if you wish to mount it. It also comes with a guide which I have fastened onto the corner of my house wall which allows the hosepipe to be guided around the corner without scraping along the wall. I bought this rather than the auto wind version which I have heard can be troublesome when the spring snaps or gets weak. I like the way the mechanism guides the hose so it is wound efficiently. Pulling the hose out and winding it back in are now not a chore. I hope it will last at least till I am no longer capable of using it myself.Read full review

Great hose and reel to replace the same Hozelock that I had for over 15 years. The last 12 of which it was on the south coast, facing south and put up with severe extremes of weather, where it changed from green to grey / green and housed many snails and spiders! Then the grandchildren came along and ‘played’ with it until the coiling mechanism stopped working. Apparently it wasn’t their fault that it broke, according to grandma.
