Hue & Cry - Stars Crash Down (CD 1991)

I have followed Hue and Cry since the release of Seduced and Abandoned. They first appeared as a seven piece band on Saturday Live hosted by Ben Elton and having seen them twice, can assure you they are equally exceptional live. Gregory and Patrick Kane write superbly and I love both Patrick's vocal quality and jass phrasing and Gregory's incredible keyboard work. Including this, I now have four of their albums on my iPod and will be looking out for Open Soul, their first new album release in 16 years. In all, very moving, even haunting melodies and lyrics.
